Typesetting & Design

Do you have a project that needs to be set up for printing? Not a problem. The Copy Center works with what you’ve got to create a final product. We can typeset pages for you or work with ones you have created that need to be set up for printing. We can also design business cards, flyers, personal note cards, and much more. Just let us know your idea, and we will do our best to make that happen.

Please stop by with your idea so that we can give you an accurate price quote.

Scanning

We can scan and save your documents to a USB drive or email them to you if the file size allows. Our machines can scan most standard size documents, as well as large format ones. Please give us a call or stop by for a quote.

Setting up your digital files

Here are some quick tips that will help you with your digital file.

Setup
Setup your document to the size that you would like it printed before you start to work on it. This will save you
future headaches when printing. Some things will not look right when printed “scaled to fit.” It is always best to start out with the correct size.

Check Resolution
When images come from the internet or look blurry on screen, they will most likely print small or blurry. When printing, you want to look for high resolution images that are the size you need or larger. A good resolution for images is between 150 to 300 pixels per inch.

PDF
Please “Save As” or “Export” your file as a .pdf format (especially Microsoft Word files). This will reduce most formatting errors and allow us to correctly print your document. You can also bring in the original format in case you need to make any last minute changes.
